In May, Realme announced the Realme Watch (review) as its first smartwatch. The Realme Watch S smartwatch with better specs went official in Pakistan last month. Today, the brand held a dedicated launch event in India to announce the Realme Watch S as well as the more advanced Realme Watch S Pro. The company also unveiled the Realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition alongside the Watch S models.

The Realme Watch S comes with a round-shaped display and a decent battery. The Watch S Pro comes with a larger screen and it is equipped with built-in GPS. Both smartwatches are equipped with plenty of fitness-centric features.

Realme Watch S

The Realme Watch S promises 14-day battery life

Weighing only 48 grams, the Realme Watch S features a 1.3-inch LCD touchscreen display that supports 360 x 360 pixels resolution and a 278 ppi pixel density. It is an IP68 rated dustproof and water-resistant device that comes with an aluminium chassis and a removable strap. The Watch S has a 390mAh battery that can last for up to 15 days with the heart rate monitor activated. It can last for up to 20 days in the Power Saving Mode.

The Realme Watch S Pro features a larger 1.39-inch AMOLED display, a stainless-steel case, a removable strap, and up to 50 meters (5ATM) water resistance. The screen supports 454 x 454 pixels resolution, 326ppi pixel density, 450nits brightness, and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio. The always-on display available on the smartwatch will allow users to see the time without turning on the entire screen. A dual-core processor fuels the Watch S Pro, and it draws power from a larger 420mAh battery that promises a 14-day battery life. Both models take around 2 hours to charge completely.

The Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro come with support for Bluetooth 5.0 and can be paired with phones running on Android 5.0 or higher. The support for pairing the Watch S models with iOS devices will be rolled out soon. These smartwatches are equipped with sensors like 3-axis accelerometer, rotor vibration motor, heart rate sensor, and blood oxygen saturation level monitor.

The Realme Watch S Pro is fitted with dual-satellite GPS

The Pro model includes dual-satellite GPS for accurate location tracking. The Watch S lacks support for GPS. Both models support a wide range of sports modes such as outdoor/indoor running, outdoor/indoor cycling, walking, aerobic capacity, strength training, swimming mode, cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, and more.

Both models other features like 100+ downloadable watch faces, music control, camera control, find phone, weather forecast, call notifications, message alerts, reminders, automatic motion recognition, reminder, stopwatch, lift wrist to wake screen, auto-brightness charging through the magnetic case, and more.

At the unveiling event, the company also took off covers from the Realme Watch S Master Edition. Designed in collaboration with Korean pop culture artist, Grafflex, the Master Edition comes in two attractive options such as colorful and black & white.

Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro price in India

The Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro are priced at Rs 4,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively in India. Realme India’s online store and Flipkart will carry out the first sales of the Watch S at 12 PM on December 28th. The Watch S Master Edition is priced at Rs 5,999 and it will be available for purchase soon. The Watch S Pro will be up for purchase through the same platforms starting from 12 PM on December 29th.

The orange, blue, and green coloured silicon strap for the Watch S and Watch S Pro priced at Rs 499 will go on sale from January 5th. The company will be soon selling vegan leather straps worth Rs 999 for both models in brown, black, blue, and green colours. The Watch S and Watch S Pro will be also hit the offline stores soon.
