Realme has rolled out a software update for the Realme X smartphone. Recently, the company also pushed the update with a system-wide dark mode and more to Realme XT. Along with the dark mode which is a part of the October security patch, Realme X users get to have other interesting features. These include a font feature for the Theme Store, realme laboratory, option for notification dots for updates, and an option to open the hidden apps list with their fingerprint. Additionally, Realme X has also been updated with a new charging animation. Users can also swipe down on the home screen for global search, thanks to the new update.
With the update, the reminder whenever the hotspot was switched on has been removed. Some applications and gaming experience have also been enhanced, says Realme. The version number of this update is RMX1901EX_11_A.09 and it will be rolled out for limited users. After ensuring that there are no bugs left to deal with, the company will push the update to all the units. This means that it might take some time for your device to receive the update.
Realme X specifications and features
Realme X is one of the most affordable options in the Indian market with a pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor. It has a 6.53-inch display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. There’s no notch on the top, and therefore the device offers a full-screen experience. It depends on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 octa-core processor with 4GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 16,500 while the one with 8GB of RAM costs Rs 19,500. The phone is available in Space Blue and Polar White colours.
