Realme has introduced a new variant of the Realme X2 smartphone in China. The new model comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage. The new variant of the handset is priced at RMB 1,799 (~Rs 18,000), and will go on sale in China from November 11th. As part of the launch offer, the smartphone will be available with a discount of RMB 100 (~Rs 1,000), which brings its price down to RMB 1,699 (~Rs 17,000). The Realme X2 was originally introduced last month in two RAM and storage configurations – 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB. The former is priced at RMB 1,599 (~Rs 16,000), while the latter is up for grabs for RMB 1,899 (~Rs 19,000) in China.
Realme X2 specifications and features
The Realme X2 is one of the most affordable smartphones with a 64MP quad-camera system at the rear and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone has a Samsung GW1 ISOCELL 64MP main camera at the back, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, there’s a 32MP camera on the front, which is placed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. The handset is capable of recording up to 4K videos at 30fps and slow-motion video recording at 960fps.
Talking about the other specs, the Realme X2 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a layer of the fifth-gen Corning Gorilla Glass on top. Powering the smartphone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G processor, which provides a clock speed of 2.2GHz. As mentioned above, the phone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of native storage.
Software-side of things on the Realme X2 are taken care by ColorOS 6 that’s based on Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 4,000mAh battery with massive 30W VOOC fast charging technology support keeps the whole show running.
