Realme X2 variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage launched in India: price, specifications

Realme recently announced the new 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Realme 6 in India. It now available for purchase with a price tag of Rs 15,999 in the country. The Chinese firm has also introduced a new variant of the Realme X2 phone in India. The tweet posted by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth confirms that the new 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Realme X2 will go on sale from July 21st.

The pricing of the new variant for the Realme X2 is yet to be confirmed. It will be selling alongside the other three variants of the phone listed on Realme India’s website.

Currently, the Realme X2 is available in 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage models for Rs 17,999, Rs 19,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively. It can be bought colours like Peal Blue, Pearl Green, and Pearl White.

The Realme X2 (review) has a 6.4-inch S-AMOLED waterdrop notch display that offers full HD+ resolution. The screen is integrated with a fingerprint sensor.  The smartphone runs Realme UI based on Android 10. The Snapdragon 730G fuels the device, along with with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. It has a dedicated slot for adding a microSD card.

The Realme X2 is fitted with a 32-megapixel front camera. The rear quad camera unit includes a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone can be charged using a 30W fast charger.

Realme recently launched the Realme X3 smartphone as the successor to the Realme X2 phone. It comes with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 855+ SoC, UFS 3.0 storage, 16-megapixel dual selfie camera, 64-megapixel quad cameras, 4,200mAh battery with a starting price of Rs. 24,999.
