The Chinese arm of the phone maker Realme has announced that it will be introducing the Realme X2 smartphone on September 24th. The press invite for the smartphone has revealed that the phone will arrive with a 64MP primary camera at the rear. The brand hasn’t yet announced anything else about the Realme X2. However, it is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor-powered variant of the Realme XT, which will arrive in India in December as the Realme XT 730G.
Realme X2 specifications
If the Realme XT 730G is indeed launching in China as the Realme X2 on September 24th, then we have some specs of the phone. Just like the former, the latter could also come powered by the gaming-centric Snapdragon 730G chipset. The handset will feature a Hyperbola 3D glass design at the rear and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will have a Super AMOLED display of unknown size. A 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC flash charge technology can also be expected on the Realme X2.
Talking about the other specs, the Realme X2 is expected to come in two RAM and storage variants – 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB, which will support microSD card memory expansion. The phone could boot Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0 out of the box. Apart from a 64MP main sensor, we can expect the handset to have three more cameras at the rear – 8MP+2MP+2MP. For selfies, there could be a 32MP camera on the front, which could be placed inside the waterdrop notch above the screen. As revealed by the company’s China CMO Xu Qi Chase, the Realme X2 will be available in the country in two colour variants – white and black, both featuring a gradient finish at the rear.
Realme X2 price
Exact pricing of the phone isn’t available at the moment, but we expect it to be priced between Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 for the base variant.
