Realme X2 with Snapdragon 730G processor launched in India, prices start at Rs 16,999

As teased earlier, Realme has launched its latest smartphone called the Realme X2 in India. The phone was originally introduced in China in September this year. The Realme X2 has arrived in India as a mid-range offering with a Hyperbola 3D glass back panel, a metal frame, a quad-camera setup on the back, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The Realme X2 is the company’s first smartphone in the country to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G processor. Apart from the standard variant of the phone, the brand has also introduced a Realme X2 Star Wars Edition in collaboration with Lucas Films.

The Realme X2 offers a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels. The Snapdragon 730G processor onboard the smartphone has a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. The device comes in three RAM and storage variants – 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Software-wise, the handset boots ColorOS 6.1, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. For gaming, the device is loaded with the Adreno 618 graphics processing unit.

At the rear, the Realme X2 has a 64MP f/1.8 primary camera, which is accompanied by an 8MP f/2.25 secondary snapper, a 2MP super-wide-angle f/2.4 shooter, and a 2MP f/2.4 depth lens. For selfies and video-calling, you have a 32MP f/2.0 camera onboard the device. The connectivity features are standard including 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-SIM slots, a 3.5mm headphone socket, USB Type-C port, and A-GPS with GLONASS. A 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC fast charging support keeps the whole package alive.

Realme X2 price in India

The Realme X2’s base variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage has been priced at Rs 16,999. The phone’s 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB models are being offered for Rs 18,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively. The smartphone comes in Pearl White, Pearl Blue, and Pearl Green colour options, and it will go on sale on Flipkart,, and in retail stores from December 20th. The company hasn’t yet revealed the pricing of the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition.
