Realme X2 Pro 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant launched in India for Rs 27,999

Last month, emerging smartphone maker Realme launched its latest offering called the Realme X2 Pro in India. The phone arrived in two RAM and storage configurations including 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB, which are priced at Rs 29,999 and Rs 33,999 respectively. Now, Realme Indian CEO Madhav Sheth has announced that the brand will soon start selling one more variant of the Realme X2 Pro, which will come with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. The phone will be priced at Rs 27,999, making it the most affordable Realme X2 Pro model in the country. The company hasn’t yet announced the first sale date of the new memory variant.

Realme X2 Pro specifications and features

Apart from lesser RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications of the Realme X2 Pro’s new model are the same as the earlier variants. The phone comes with a waterdrop notch above the screen and minimal bezels on the sides. The handset has a 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which offers HDR10+ support, a high screen refresh rate of 90Hz, and a layer of Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Below the display, there is an in-screen fingerprint sensor for security. Software-wise, the device boots ColorOS 6.1 that’s based on Android 9 Pie.

Under the hood, the Realme X2 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, which is paired with an Adreno 640 GPU. In the camera department, the phone has a 64MP Samsung GW1 primary camera sensor on the rear. The main shooter is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 13MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP portrait sensor. The handset offers 4-in-1 pixel binning mechanism, up to 20X hybrid zoom, 5X optical zoom, and 4K video recording support. For selfies and video calling, the device has a 16MP selfie snapper on the front.

In terms of connectivity, the Realme X2 Pro offers 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and GPS with GLONASS. Lastly, the phone is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery that supports 50W SuperVOOC fast charging, which can fully charge the smartphone in just 30 minutes.
