Realme launched the X2 Pro (review) flagship in India last month with a price tag starting at Rs 29,999. The handset was the first flagship device with powerful specifications, 64MP quad-camera setup and a competitive price tag. Buoyed by the response that the Realme X2 Pro received in India, the company recently announced a 6GB variant of the smartphone, which is more affordable at Rs 27,999. Now, the Realme X2 Pro Master Edition in Red Brick and Concrete variants will go on sale in India starting today. Notably, these variants come with a unique textured back unlike the glossy glass finish on the regular variant.
Realme X2 Pro Master Edition specifications and features
The Realme X2 Pro Master Edition retains all specifications of the top-end variant of the regular model (12GB + 256GB). As such, you get a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch on top, and the device offers a 91.7 percent screen-to-body ratio. The screen also comes with the support for 90Hz refresh rate for smooth animations as well as HDR10+. The front is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, while the Naoto Fukasawa-designed back panel uses a soft frosted glass with custom RP paint and lacquered glass coating technology.
At its core, the smartphone gets the same Snapdragon 855+ chipset backed by Adreno 640 GPU and vapour chamber liquid cooling for heat dissipation. In the software department, the phone gets Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 skinned on top. The highlight of the device is a 64MP Samsung GW1 main sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with 115-degree field of view, a 13MP telephoto lens and 2MP portrait camera. For selfies, the smartphone offers a 16MP snapper with AI features and Selfie Nightscape mode. Powering the smartphone is a beefy 4,000mAh battery with support for 50W SuperVOOC flash charging.
