Earlier this year in September, Realme introduced the Realme X2 smartphone in the Chinese market. The phone arrived in two colour variants – Silver Wing White and Star Map Blue. The company is now reportedly working on a special edition of the device. According to a report by MySmartPrice, the new model will be called the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition, and it will be introduced in collaboration with Lucas Films. The new Realme X2 model will be released initially in the Chinese market, but could be launched in other countries as well. Notably, the brand is planning to release the Realme X2 as the Realme XT 730G in the Indian market on December 17th.

The source has also posted a press render of the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition. The photo shows that the smartphone will have a dual-tone gradient finish at the rear, which will appear premium. The phone will feature the Star Wars branding towards the bottom at the back. Notably, the device will also have a big X-shaped logo, which is made out of two LightSaber swords from the Star Wars franchise. We can also expect the Realme X2 Star Wars Edition to come with a special Star Wars-inspired theme and customised user interface. Apart from the design and UI changes, the Star Wars edition of the handset is expected to offer the same set of specs under the hood as the earlier models.
Realme X2 specifications and features
Talking about the specs, the Realme X2’s biggest highlight is a 64MP quad-camera setup at the rear. The handset has a 64MP Samsung GW1 ISOCELL main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the handset has a 32MP snapper on the front. The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels, Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Software-wise, the Realme X2 boots ColorOS 6 that’s based on Android 9 Pie.
As for the other features, the Realme X2 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G processor that offers a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of native storage. The connectivity features are standard including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and A-GPS. A 4,000mAh battery with 30W VOOC fast charging support keeps the whole package alive. The handset is available in China at the starting price of around Rs 16,000.
