Earlier this month, Realme introduced the Realme X2. So far, it is the most powerful smartphone from the brand. However, a new Weibo post from Realme China’s Chief Marketing Officer Xu Qi confirms that the company will be soon launching its first flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 855+ mobile platform. The handset is expected to debut as Realme X2Pro.
The above shown screenshot reveals that Xu Qi has used the upcoming Realme X2Pro smartphone to compose the post on Weibo. He has revealed that the smartphone is codenamed ‘Super Warrior’. Reports reveal that even Wang Wei Derek, who is the Product Director of Realme China, had used to Realme X2Pro to post on Weibo. However, the post was deleted soon after.
Derek has also revealed that the Realme’s X2Pro will support only 4G connectivity. He had asked fans to guess the cost of the device. In the comments section of the same post, Derek has claimed a price of RMB 4,000 (~Rs 39,700) appears reasonable for the phone. The pricing looks expensive, considering the fact that Realme phones in China have been always been priced under RMB 1,999 (~Rs 19,900).
Most likely, the handset could be priced under RMB 3,000 (~Rs 29,700). This pricing will allow it to rival with Snapdragon 855+ powered Redmi K20 Pro Premium phone in China that sells at RMB 3,199 (~Rs 31,700) for the highest-end model that features 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. At present, there is no information on the specifications of the Realme X2Pro. A reliable Chinese tipster has claimed that the Realme X2Pro will be made official by mid-October.
