Realme launched the Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition smartphone in Europe last month. The smartphone features a Snapdragon 855+ chipset and a 120Hz refresh rate display as some of its key highlights. Recently, there was a report that the smartphone might arrive in India later this month.
Realme has now confirmed that the Realme X3 SuperZoom is launching in India next week. Apart from the SuperZoom Edition, the brand will also launch a standard Realme X3 in the country. As of now, there’s no confirmed details available regarding the standard variant.
Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom launch date in India
Realme has sent out a media invite today for the launch of the Realme X3 series in India. The company has scheduled the launch event at 12.30pm on June 25th. The invite reveals that Realme will be launching the unannounced Realme X3 alongside the Realme X3 SuperZoom in India.
Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition specifications and features
The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition ships with a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, 2.5D Corilla Glass and 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the smartphone is last year’s flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, which is further accompanied by 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage with HPB as well as Turbo Write. The Realme X3 SuperZoom Edition is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W Dart Charging and boots Realme UI based on Android 10.
The smartphone features quad-camera setup on the back with a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom as well as 60x digital zoom, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. There’s a 32-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor. For security, the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Realme X3 specifications and features (rumoured)
The Realme X3 is yet to be formally announced by the brand, but was spotted on a recent TENAA listing which revealed several specs. The smartphone will reportedly feature a 6.57-inch display with full HD+ screen resolution and a dual punch-hole cutout on the front. It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor (possibly a different processor for the Indian market), accompanied by up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone will support 5G, boot Realme UI based on Android and be powered by a 4,100mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
In the optics department, the phone is expected to feature a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors. The front camera setup is tipped to have a 16-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The Realme X3 will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.
