Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom with Snapdragon 855+ launched in India: price, specifications

Realme launched its next-generation X-series smartphone called the Realme X3 SuperZoom in Europe last month. The company has been hinting at the launch of the smartphone in India ever since Madhav Sheth shared a Starry Mode image shot by the SuperZoom Edition. The brand has now launched the Realme X3 series in India today, which also includes a standard Realme X3 variant.

Both these smartphones come with 120Hz displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoCs, 64MP quad-cameras and more as their highlights. The distinguishing features between the two models are the zoom lens on the back and the primary selfie lens on the front. Also, the RAM and storage configurations differ on both models. The Realme X3 SuperZoom comes with a 6.6-inch LCD display with 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC backed by an Adreno 640 GPU. The phone is being offered in two configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB.

Coming to the highlight of the smartphone, the Realme X3 SuperZoom uses 64MP f/1.8 Samsung GW1 sensor on the back accompanied by an 8MP periscope style f/3.4 lens, 8MP f/2.3 ultra-wide angle lens with a 119-degree field of view and a 2MP f/2.4 macro lens with a focus distance of 4cm. In the front, the smartphone features a 32MP Sony IMX616 f/2.5 camera backed by an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle sensor.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom boots Realme UI based on Android 10 out of the box and is powered by 4,200mAh battery with support for 30W Dart Flash charge. For security, there’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock.

As for the standard Realme X3, the smartphone shares its spec sheet with the SuperZoom Edition, except for three differences. The Realme X3 also comes in two configurations, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 8MP periscope lens on the back is replaced by a standard 12MP f/2.5 telephoto lens, with the other cameras remaining the same. Lastly, the primary selfie camera on the front is downgraded to a 16MP f/2.0 Sony IMX471 sensor.

Realme X3 series price in India

Realme is offering both models in two colour options – Glacier Blue and Arctic White. The standard Realme X3 will retail at Rs 24,999 and Rs 25,999 for the 6GB and 8GB models, respectively. The SuperZoom Edition, on the other hand, has been priced at Rs Rs 27,999 for the base model and Rs 32,999 for the top-end variant. The pre-booking of Realme X3 series will start on June 25th at 8pm till midnight on June 27th and will go on sale starting June 30th at 12pm.
