Realme is expected to launch the Realme X3 series in China on May 25th. The upcoming offering will arrive as the successor to the Realme X2. The standard X2 (review) and X2 Pro (review) were launched in the last quarter of 2019. Earlier this month, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth teased the Realme X3’s zooming capability.
It is expected to debut in two variants i.e. standard and SuperZoom. The brand is set to unveil the smartphone globally on May 26th in Europe. The company hasn’t revealed the India launch date yet, but according to a report by 91mobiles, the Realme X3 SuperZoom will be launched in mid-June.
Realme X3 SuperZoom specifications and features
The Realme X3 SuperZoom teaser reveals that it will come with 60x digital zooming capabilities. It will also feature ‘Starry Mode’, which is a long exposure mode to let you capture stars. Apart from this, not much is known about the upcoming smartphone.
The Realme X3 SuperZoom was spotted on Geekbench hinting at the presence of a Snapdragon 855 processor. The SoC is paired with 12GB RAM and the device runs Android 10. Meanwhile, alleged live images of the Realme X3 SuperZoom revealed that the device will look identical to the X50. It features dual punch-hole cameras, a vertical quad-camera setup and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone is tipped to sport a 120Hz FHD+ display. On the camera front, the device may come with a quad-camera setup comprising of 64MP main sensor and 8MP telephoto lens. It is also rumoured to feature a periscope camera. The Realme X3 SuperZoom is expected to be powered by a 4,200mAh battery unit with support for 30W fast charging.
Realme is launching the X3 SuperZoom in Europe tomorrow, so we will learn more about the smartphone. In other news, the brand is set to launch its Realme TV and Realme Watch in India on May 25th.
