Realme X50 5G teaser reveals gradient white back panel and quad-cameras at top left corner

Two days ago, Realme confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Realme X50 in China on January 7. For a while now, the brand has been teasing the device revealing some key specifications. Now a new teaser has been shared by the company’s Chief Marketing Officer Xu Qi Chase which gives us a glimpse at the phone’s back panel. The smartphone is seen flaunting a white gradient panel that will be called Polar colour variant. There is a vertically stacked quad-camera setup on the top left corner instead of a central placement as seen in the previous renders. The smartphone is expected to arrive with a slim profile. Apart from the back panel design, the teaser doesn’t reveal anything else.

Going by the previous teasers, the Realme X50 5G is confirmed to feature a punch hold display on the top left corner to accommodate dual selfie cameras. In the latest teaser, there is no fingerprint scanner on the back panel which hint at an in-display scanner. The smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 765G chipset with dual-channel Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity. It will support both standalone and non-standalone dual-mode networks. The recent teaser has also confirmed that the X50 5G will come with VOOC 4.0 fast charging and a liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. 

As for the rest of the specifications, the Realme X50 5G is expected to come with a 6.44-inch screen with AMOLED panel on the top. It is also rumoured to feature a 90Hz refresh rate panel. The quad-camera setup might consist of a 60MP primary Sony IMX686 sensor, 8MP super-wide lens, and two 2MP sensors. Upfront, the device may be fitted with a 32MP+8MP selfie shooters. The Realme X50 5G is expected to arrive with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. 

Realme is expected to announce the Youth Edition of X50 5G alongside the standard variant. We expect the brand to reveal more details on the smartphone leading up to the launch event.
