Realme has confirmed that it will be holding a global 5G event on February 24th at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 tech show. It is speculated that the company may showcase the global version of the Realme X50 5G that went official in China earlier this month. A screenshot showing the AnTuTu benchmark scores of a new Realme smartphone with model number RMX2071 has emerged. Since it has achieved the highest AnTuTu score, it appears to be a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. Rumours suggest that the Realme RMX2017 with Snapdragon 865 could be the upcoming Realme X50 Pro 5G. The said device may also get showcased at the company’s 5G event next month.
The RMX2071 AnTuTu screenshot has not information on the specs of the phone. However, the 574,985 average benchmarking score is clear hint that it could be a flagship device.
The Snapdragon 865 SoC that is integrated with X55 5G modem was announced in December at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 event. After the event, Realme confirmed that it will be one of the first brands to launch SD865 driven phone. Hence, it is likely that the RM2071 that has cropped up on AnTuTu could be the rumoured Realme X50 Pro 5G flagship phone. At present, there is no confirmation on the official name of the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone.
The purported Realme X50 Pro could be arriving as the successor of the Realme X2 Pro that went official in India in November. The handset may get a global unveil at MWC 2020. A well-known tipster from China claimed that the forthcoming Snapdragon 865 powered Realme smartphone will have a single punch-hole at the upper-left corner.
The other specs of the phone are currently under wraps. Since the company has already launched the Realme X2 Pro with a 120Hz display, the alleged Realme X50 Pro may carry support for the same or a higher refresh rate.
