Realme X50 Pro India launch set for February 24th

Realme has announced that it will be holding a press event in India on February 24th. At the event, the company will be launching the Realme X50 Pro smartphone. The event will kick off at 2.30pm and is expected to be live-streamed on the brand’s social handles. The Realme X50 Pro will arrive as the country’s first 5G smartphone. Realme had earlier planned to introduce the X50 Pro at an event in Europe during MWC 2020. However, the company had to change its plans since MWC was cancelled over concerns surrounding the Coronavirus.

Realme X50 Pro specifications and features

As revealed by the brand earlier, the Realme X50 Pro will be arriving with two holes in the screen to house the dual selfie cameras. The handset will feature full HD+ resolution and boot Android 10 out of the box with the Realme UI custom skin on top. Under the hood, the handset will flaunt Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 865 and will have support for the dual-mode 5G (NSA and SA). The chipset of the device will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage, which will be of the UFS 3.0 type. Lastly, the brand had officially revealed that the smartphone will come with a 65W SuperDraft fast-charging battery.

Talking about the other specifications, the Realme X50 Pro is expected to come with a 6.44-inch AMOLED display. The device will be featuring a fingerprint sensor under the screen for security. At the rear, the phone is expected to a 60MP Sony IMX686 primary camera, which is said to be paired with an 8MP wide-angle lens and a pair of 2MP additional sensors. For selfies, the device could feature a 32MP main shooter, accompanied by an 8MP secondary camera.

Realme X50 Pro price and availability

Realme hasn’t yet revealed anything about the pricing of the Realme X50 Pro at the moment. However, we can expect the device to be a sub-Rs 40,000 offering. Since the launch is just around the corner, stay tuned for more details.
