Realme has two smartphones so far in its X50 series including the Realme X50 launched in China and Realme X50 Pro 5G (review), which is also available in India. Now, the company has gone ahead and launched the third device in the lineup called the Realme X50m 5G in China. The latest launch sits in between the Realme X50 and Realme X50 Pro 5G, but also has a few upgrades over the Pro variant. The Realme X50m 5G features 120Hz refresh rate screen with a dual selfie camera module, Snapdragon 765G processor, 30W fast charging technology and more as its highlights. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
Realme X50m 5G specifications and features
The glass-clad Realme X50m 5G features a 6.57-inch IPS LCD panel with a dual punch-hole cutout in the top left corner. The display offers a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, screen-to-body ratio of 90.4 percent and 120Hz refresh rate. Driving the performance of the device is the mid-range 5G processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 765G accompanied by up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. Additionally, the smartphone offers an internal storage of 128GB. The handset boots Realme UI based on Android 10. It is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W Dart charting technology, which can charge the device up to 70 percent in just 30 minutes.
Coming to the cameras, the Realme X50m 5G flaunts a quad-camera setup on the back comprising of a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 119-degree 8-megapixel super-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel mono sensor. In the front, you will find a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Other features of the device include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 1216 ultra-liner speakers with support for Hi-Res audio, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and USB-C.
Realme X50m price and availability
Realme is offering the X50m 5G in two configurations – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, which will set you back by RMB 1,999 (~Rs 21,500) and RMB 2,299 (~Rs 24,800), respectively. The smartphone will go on sale in China on April 29th and will be offered in Starry Blue and Galaxy White colourways. There’s no word on the India launch of the handset as of now.
