Realme X7 Max, Realme Smart TV launch date in India teased

Realme X7 Max and Realme smart TV have been teased to launch in India on May 4th. Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth revealed in the latest Ask Madhav episode that the brand is bringing the first MediaTek Dimensity 1200 powered phone in India and also introducing a cinema experience at home with voice control and Dolby Vision. The latter hints at the launch of new Realme Smart TVs.

Sheth had recently confirmed the launch of Realme TV 4K 43-inch, as well as hinted at 49 and 50-inch variants. It’s worth noting that the name of the upcoming Dimensity 1200 powered smartphone has not been revealed. He added that the upcoming May 4th event is Realme’s biggest and important launch event.

As per tipster Debayan Roythe Realme X7 Max will debut as the rebranded Realme GT Neo. The specifications of the upcoming offering are similar to the GT Neo, including the Dimensity 1200 SoC. He suggests the phone will launch in the first half of May, which is in line with the May 4th date mentioned by Sheth.

Realme GT Neo specifications and features

The Realme GT Neo has a 6.43-inch punch-hole AMOLED display bearing an FHD+ resolution. It features a 120Hz refresh rate screen and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device flaunts a gradient back panel and houses a rectangular camera module. 

The Realme GT Neo sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. It comes with a 16MP front-facing selfie camera. 

Under the hood, the Realme GT Neo is powered by a Dimensity 1200 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It is equipped with VC liquid cooling tech for heat dissipation. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 50W fast charging.
