Realme XT 730G India launch set for December 17th, Realme AirPods also coming

Realme had been teasing the launch of the Realme XT 730G smartphone in India since last month. The company had already revealed a handful of specifications of the upcoming smartphone. Earlier, the brand said that the Realme XT 730G will be released in the country at some point in December. Today, the company has finally announced that it will be launching the Realme XT 730G at an event in India on December 17th. The phone maker has also revealed that it will be introducing the Realme AirPods at the same event, which will arrive as its first truly wireless earphones.

Talking about the official specs the brand has revealed so far, the phone is confirmed to come powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 730G processor, just like its name suggests. The phone will sport a Hyperbola 3D glass premium design on the back. The handset will have a Super AMOLED screen panel, but there’s no word on the display size at the moment.

The device will have a fingerprint sensor that will be placed under the screen. The smartphone will boast a 64MP main camera on the back. Lastly, the brand has announced that the Realme XT 730G will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that will support 33W VOOC Flash Charge fast charging tech. The rumour mill suggests that one of the models of the phone will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Unfortunately, there’s not much known about the specifications and features of the Realme’s first truly wireless earphones, the Realme AirPods at the moment. However, the company recently revealed the design and colour variants of the earphones. As per the official images, the Realme AirPods will be quite similar to the Apple AirPods in terms of design. Lastly, we know that the Realme wearable will be available in three colour variants – Yellow, Black, and White.
