The Realme XT arrived in September last year and proved itself a strong budget smartphone. The handset’s successor, called the Realme X2 was recently launched with a similar price tag. Today, the company has announced a price cut for Realme XT and the reduced price is effective on Flipkart and Realme’s official website. The device was priced at Rs 15,999 earlier and after receiving the cut, it costs Rs 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. By doing this, Realme has clearly positioned the phone against the likes of Redmi Note 8 Pro which costs Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model. The other two variants of Realme XT (review) have also received a price cut.
