The Redmi 10 Prime will be backed by a 6,000mAh battery unit with support for reverse charging, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain confirmed on his Twitter handle. It will also be the lightest Redmi phone with a 6,000mAh battery.
As per reports, the upcoming Redmi 10 Prime will arrive as the rebranded variant of the global Redmi 10 that debuted last month. Notably, the Indian variant also has a higher battery compared to the global model that is powered by a 5,000mAh cell.

Redmi 10 Prime specifications and features (expected)
Prior to launch, the Redmi 10 Prime’s key specifications have already been teased by the Xiaomi sub-brand. The smartphone will be equipped with an Helio G88 processor. It will come with a center-aligned punch-hole display with an adaptive refresh rate.
If reports are indeed true that the Redmi 10 Prime is rebadged Redmi 10, then the upcoming smartphone could come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device will pack up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The Redmi 10 Prime is tipped to sport quad-rear cameras of 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth unit.
The global variant is fuelled by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. However, the Indian variant will pack a larger 6,000mAh unit as confirmed above.
