Now that the Indian variant of the Redmi 10 Prime has been spotted, it appears that the Redmi 10 series could be coming to India soon. Last year’s Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 Prime featured identical specs and they mainly differed in the RAM and storage departments. The same can be expected from the Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Prime models.

Redmi 10 Prime India launch tipped

As can be seen in the screenshots shared by tipster Mukul Sharma, a Xiaomi phone with the M21061119BI model number has been spotted with the Redmi 10 Prime moniker. The letter ‘I’ in the model number indicates that it is an Indian variant. The existence of the Indian variant is a good hint that the Redmi 10 Prime will be releasing in India soon.

Unfortunately, there is no information available on the specifications of the Redmi 10 Prime. As mentioned above, it may borrow most of its specs from Redmi 10 model along with higher RAM and storage.

Redmi 10 specifications and features (expected)

Recent reports have revealed that the Redmi 10 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Helio G88 chip may power the device with LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It will run MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

For selfies, it features a 13MP front camera. Its rear camera setup will include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The 5,000mAh battery of the Redmi 10 support 18W fast charging through USB-C. It will offer other features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a microSD card slot.
