- Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G is expected to launch soon in India
- The device has bagged certification from the BIS authority of India
- It will be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Note 11E handset
Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G India launch seems to be drawing near. The alleged device, with model number 22041219I, has received certification from the Bureau of India (BIS) authority. According to tipster Kacper Skrzypek, the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11E 5G, which debuted earlier this month exclusively in China. He also revealed that the Note 11E will be rechristened as the POCO M4 5G and the Redmi 10 5G in some markets.
Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced the Redmi 10 Prime in India in September 2021. Last week, the company unveiled the Snapdragon 680 powered Redmi 10 in the country. Both are 4G LTE devices. As the name suggests, the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G will be the first device in the series to carry support for 5G connectivity.
Redmi 10+ Prime 5G specifications (rumoured)
Unfortunately, the BIS listing of the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G has not revealed any information on its specifications. It appears that the device may pack the same specs that are available on the Redmi Note 11E 5G.
The Note 11E has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. The waterdrop notch available on the display houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear side has a 50-megapixel (main) + 2-megapixel (depth) dual-camera system. The Dimensity 700 chipset is present under the hood of the Note 11E.
The device is equipped with 4GB / 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. It runs on the Android 11 OS, which is overlaid with MIUI 13. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
Redmi 10 5G, POCO M4 5G, Redmi 10 Power expected to launch soon
According to a recent report by Xiaomiui, information that has surfaced through MIUI code reveals that the Note 11E will also be rebranded as the POCO M4 5G in India. POCO is also planning to release the POCO M4 5G NFC in global markets. POCO M4 5G (and the NFC version) will probably pack the same specs as the Note 11E but sport a different rear design.
The publication also mentioned that the Note 11E will be rebadged as the Redmi 10 5G and Redmi 10 5G NFC in global markets. In addition, it revealed that Redmi is planning to launch the Redmi 10 Power in India. The said device could be similar to the recently announced Redmi 10.
