Redmi 10 receives a price cut up to Rs 1,000: check revised price, offers, and more

Redmi 10 has received a price cut of up to Rs 1,000 in India. The smartphone had debuted in the country earlier in March this year. Both 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configurations have received a price drop and the new price is reflected on Xiaomi India’s website as well as Flipkart.

It’s unclear whether the price cut on the Redmi 10 is permanent or for a limited period. The smartphone is a sub-Rs 12,000 offering. 

Redmi 10 revised price

The Redmi 10 4GB + 64GB variant was launched at Rs 10,999 however, after the price cut of Rs 1,000, it is now available for purchase at Rs 9,999. The 6GB + 128GB option is cheaper by Rs 500 which means its price is down to Rs 12,499 from Rs 12,999. 

Apart from the price cut, interested buyers can get up to Rs 9,500 off on exchanging their old smartphones via the Mi Exchange program. There are a host of bank offers for Axis Bank cardholders upon purchasing the smartphone from Flipkart. Additionally, IDFC First Bank credit cardholders will be eligible for cashback up to Rs 3,000 on EMI transactions.

The Redmi 10 comes with a large 6.71-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution, a waterdrop notch and Widevine L1 support. The device features a texturized back panel and a big square camera module that also accommodates a conventional fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 10 comes with a dual-rear camera setup of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. There is a 5MP front-facing selfie snapper. 

In terms of hardware, the Redmi 10 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The smartphone is backed by a 6,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W charging. The Redmi 10 ships with MIUI 13-based Android 11 OS out of the box
