Redmi 10A launch date for India has been confirmed. The company will be announcing it on April 20th, 2022. The handset will be positioned lower than the Snapdragon 680 powered Redmi 10, which was announced in March in India.

The Redmi 10A’s landing page is now live on Amazon India’s website. It highlights some of the key features of the device, such as an EVOL design, a teardrop notch display, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, a two-day battery life, and virtual RAM. The specifications of the Redmi 10A are already known since it was announced last month in China.

Redmi 10A promises 2-day battery life

The Redmi 10A has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD HD+ display that offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 400 nits of brightness. It has a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and the square-shaped camera module on the back has a 13-megapixel camera and an LED flash. The camera module also accommodates a fingerprint scanner.

The MediaTek Helio G25 chipset is at the helm of the Redmi 10A. In China, it comes with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device boots to the Android 11 OS, which is customised with MIUI 12.5. For additional storage, it has a microSD card slot.

The Redmi 10A packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports only 10W charging. It has other features such as extended RAM, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a microUSB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Redmi 10A price in India (rumoured)

According to a recent report by Passionate Geekz, the Redmi 10A will be available in two variants, such as 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, in India. The device is likely to cost less than Rs 10,000. It is expected to arrive in blue, grey, and black colours.
