Xiaomi Redmi 10C has launched in Nigeria. It arrives as the successor to the Redmi 9C. The latest offering is set to launch in India as Redmi 10 later this week. Now, that the Redmi 10C is official, we can expect the Indian variant to come with the same specifications.
The Redmi 10C is quite different compared to the Redmi 10 2022 and Redmi 10 Prime. It packs toned-down specifications and is a budget offering. The newest smartphone comes with a Snapdragon processor and a big square camera module on the back.
Redmi 10C specifications and features
The Redmi 10C comes with a 6.71-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The back panel has a textured finish and houses a large square camera module along with a conventional fingerprint scanner. The rear camera setup consists of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth lens. There is a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies.
Internally, the Redmi 10C is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. It packs 4GB RAM and up to 128GB native storage expandable via a microSD card. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging. Software-wise, the phone runs on MIUI 13 based Android 11 OS.
Connectivity options on the Redmi 10C include a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Redmi 10C pricing and availability
The Redmi 10C costs NGN 78,000 (~Rs 14,300) for the base 4GB + 64GB variant. The 4GB + 128GB model is priced at NGN 87,000 (~Rs 15,000). The smartphone is available in Black, Blue, and Green colours and can be purchased in Nigeria.
