Redmi 11 Prime 5G India launch has been tipped. The moniker of the device and its 22041219I model number have appeared in the IMEI database. The letter “I” in the model number suggests that the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is going to release in India.

In March 2022, Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 11E 5G smartphone in China. The model number of this device is 22041912C. This indicates that the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be a rebadged edition of the Note 11E 5G. For the unversed, the POCO M4 5G, which debuted in April this year in India, was also a rebranded version of the Note 11E 5G.

Redmi Note 11E features Dimensity 700 chip

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G may arrive with the same design and specifications that are available on the Note 11E 5G. It will sport a 6.58-inch IPS LCD waterdrop notch display, which will produce an FHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,408 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device will arrive with the MIUI 13-based Android 12 OS.

The Dimensity 700 will be at the helm of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. The smartphone could come with 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM as well as 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W rapid charging support.

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For selfies, it will sport a 5-megapixel front camera. It will feature a dual-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G price in India (rumoured)

The POCO M4 5G is available in two configurations: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage for Rs 12,999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage for Rs 14,999. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G is likely to carry a similar starting price in India.
