Redmi 12C launch date for India has been officially confirmed. Redmi will be unveiling the Redmi Note 12 (4G) on March 30th, 2023. The company will be unveiling the Redmi 12C at the same time. The 12C debuted in December 2022 and made its way to the global market yesterday. Now, the smartphone is finally landing in the Indian market.
Ahead of the launch, the microsite for the Redmi 12C has gone live on Xiaomi India’s website and Amazon India. It has revealed the design and key features of the phone. Here’s a look at what to expect from the 12C.

Redmi 12C key features
Redmi 12C has a 5,000mAh battery
The Redmi 12C’s microsite reveals that it is equipped with a 6.71-inch display, and its back panel will sport a stylish striped design. The rear side of the device has a 50-megapixel dual-camera unit with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. The device is powered by the Helio G85 chipset.
The 12C houses a 5,000mAh battery and offers up to 11GB of RAM. The latter appears to be in the form of 6GB of physical RAM and 5GB of virtual RAM. It will arrive in four colours: black, blue, green, and purple.
Other reports have revealed that the Redmi 12C’s display will support an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,650 pixels. The device will come preloaded with am MIUI 13-based Android 12 OS. It will have a 5-megapixel front camera, and its rear camera setup will also include a depth sensor. The battery of the device will support 10W charging.
Redmi 12C price in India (expected)
Redmi is yet to drop any hints on the price of the Redmi 12C. The above-mentioned specifications indicate that the smartphone could be priced at around Rs 10,000.
