Redmi K20 Pro gets limited period price drop of Rs 2,000

Xiaomi’s Redmi K20 Pro was launched in India a year ago. It debuted with a starting price tag of Rs 27,999. Earlier in January, Xiaomi had slashed the price of the base and top-end variants by Rs 3,000. However, in April due to the new GST rate, the price was hiked by Rs 2,000, making the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants retail at Rs 26,999 and Rs 29,999.

Now Xiaomi has announced a limited-period price drop on the Redmi K20 Pro 6GB + 128GB model. It is available for purchase at Rs 24,999 instead of Rs 26,999 till July 13th on Flipkart, Amazon and from today. 

Redmi K20 Pro specifications and features

The Redmi K20 Pro sports an FHD+ AMOLED display measuring 6.39-inches. It offers a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio and features a pop-up camera module. Both the front and rear panels are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner. 

The Redmi K20 Pro features a triple camera setup on the back. It comprises of a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens and 13MP ultra-wide unit. The device comes with a 20MP selfie shooter. The smartphone offers camera features like HDR, super night mode, 4K video recording and slow-mo. 

In terms of hardware, the Redmi K20 Pro is equipped with last year’s flagship Snapdragon 855 processor. It packs up to 8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The smartphone draws its power from a 4,000mAh battery unit with support for 27W fast charging via USB-C port. The Redmi K20 Pro runs on Android 10 OS with the latest MIUI 12 skinned on the top. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and dual-frequency GPS.
