Xiaomi has officially confirmed that it is working on launching the Redmi K30 series of smartphones soon. We already have some idea about the specifications and features of the Redmi K30. As a matter of fact, the expected launch date of the Redmi K30 was somewhere in the month of December. This, however, might not be the case after all and the Redmi K30 could be making its debut in the first quarter of 2020. At least this is what the company’s latest official statement hints at.
Redmi K30 5G could be launching in 2020
Li Weibing has recently made a post on his official Weibo handle wherein he has compared the devices the company has launched this year (Redmi K20 Pro and Redmi Note 8 Pro) with the likes of the smartphones launched by the rival companies.
The last line of his posts says “2020, Redmi 5G is a pioneer. K30 see!” (roughly translated from Chinese).
This could very well mean that the Redmi K30 will launch in 2020 only.
As far as the specifications and the features of the Redmi K30 are concerned, as said we will be getting 5G support with the Redmi K30 series. Furthermore, the Redmi K30 will feature a dual punch-hole display.
The Redmi K30 has recently appeared on the MIIT certification website which has further confirmed the presence of 5G.
As of now, this is all we know about the device, but we are sure to receive further intel on the same in the coming days.
