Xiaomi launched the Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 5G in China last December. While the Redmi K30 made its way to India in February as the POCO X2, Pricebaba has now learned that the Redmi K30 5G may also launch in India soon, via tipster Ishan Agarwal. According to our source, the smartphone could be offered in Frost White and Mist Purple colours in the country.

The RAM and storage variants available here could include 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. In China, there’s also an 8GB + 256GB model, but it appears this one isn’t slated to launch in India.
Redmi K30 5G specifications and features
To recap on the specifications of the Redmi K30 5G, the phone is fitted with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD full HD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. The display features a dual punch-hole cutout in the front for housing two selfie cameras. The handset comes with a Snapdragon 765G processor backed by an Adreno 620 GPU and X52 modem for 5G connectivity.
The Redmi K30 5G features a quad-camera setup on the rear panel. The primary camera is the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor with f/1.89 aperture. The main lens is backed by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. In the front, the Redmi K30 5G features a 20-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
Powering the Redmi K30 5G is a 4,500mAh battery, which comes with support for 30W fast charging. The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm jack, NFC, Infrared sensor and A-GPS.
In China, the smartphone was launched in four variants, 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, priced at RMB 1,999 (~Rs 21,300), RMB 2,299 (~Rs 24,500), RMB 2,599 (~Rs 27,700) and RMB 2,899 (~Rs 30,900) respectively.
