Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is all set to launch its new Redmi K series smartphone called the Redmi K30 at an event in its home market of China tomorrow. The phone is said to be launching in both the 5G and 4G connectivity supported variants. Apart from the Redmi K30, the company is reportedly also working on the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone as well. While the brand hasn’t yet officially announced anything, the gadget tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has claimed that the Redmi K30 Pro will be launched in China at some point in March next year. It’s quite possible that the company will be teasing the Redmi K30 Pro at the event in China tomorrow.

Redmi K30 Pro specifications and features
As for the specifications of the Redmi K30 Pro, the tipster has claimed that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 865. The handset will have the Qualcomm X55 modem to provide support for the next-gen 5G networks. The device is expected to come with support for SA / NSA dual 5G connectivity support. The leakster hasn’t revealed anything else about the specifications of the Redmi K30 Pro at the moment.

Talking about the Redmi K30, the phone is already confirmed to be the world’s first phone to offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. The handset will come with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display and an in-screen or side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device is confirmed to arrive with a 64MP primary quad-camera setup at the rear. The brand had revealed that the Redmi K30 will have a beefy 4,500mAh battery. Notably, thanks to the 30W fast charging support, the handset is claimed to fully charge in just one hour.
