Redmi has already confirmed that the K40 series is launching on February 25th in China. Today, the company posted on its Weibo account to confirm that it will be announcing two flagship devices on the said date. It also released an image to confirm the camera design of the Redmi K40.

The two flagship devices could be the Xiaomi devices with model numbers M2012K11AC and M2012K211C that were recently certified by the TENAA authority of China. These models are speculated to hit the Chinese markets as the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro.

In the poster, the Redmi K40 can be seen sporting triple cameras. It has a rectangular camera module that includes two large-sized lenses. Another camera and a sensor are placed between those two sensors. An LED flash unit is placed alongside the triple camera system. The company did not share any information on the configurations of those lenses.
The design of the camera housing matches the images of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro handsets that were recently seen at TENAA. The company is yet to reveal the front design of the smartphone. The images at TENAA have revealed that the K40 duo will have a flat screen with a top-centered selfie camera cutout.
Redmi K40 specifications and features (rumoured)
The TENAA listings of the Redmi K40 revealed that they have identical dimensions of 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8mm. They are fitted with 6.67-inch displays. Rumours suggest that these phones are equipped with Samsung E4 AMOLED displays that support Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The Redmi K40 duo has 4,420mAh batteries and they are expected to arrive with support for 33W fast charging. The two smartphones are expected to differ in departments like the chipset and cameras.
The Redmi K40 Pro will be driven by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. It is unclear which chipset will be driving the vanilla K40. It may either feature the Dimensity 1200 chipset or an upcoming Snapdragon 7-series SoC. The K40 series is expected to arrive with a starting price of RMB 2,999 (~Rs 33,600).
