The POCO X3 Pro has received multiple certifications including FCC, TUV, EEC and IMDA, and is expected to launch soon. The same device has now been spotted on Indonesia Telecom, which has only revealed the model number (M2102J20SG) and moniker.
Indonesia Telecom also lists another device without mentioning the model name. However, going by the model number M2012K11AG, we can confirm it is the Redmi K40 that was launched in China yesterday. The certification confirms that the Redmi K40 will launch globally with POCO branding. This was also confirmed by IMDA certification yesterday.
POCO X3 Pro specifications and features (expected)
The POCO X3 Pro will come with 4G support, as confirmed by FCC certification earlier this month. The certification reveals the phone will boot MIUI 12 and support NFC and dual-band Wi-Fi. Previous reports indicate the POCO X3 Pro will be powered by the SM8150 chipset, which could indicate either the Snapdragon 855 or Snapdragon 855+.
Redmi K40 will launch with POCO branding outside China
The Indonesia Telecom certification confirmed that the Redmi K40 will launch as a POCO smartphone globally, but the moniker is yet to be revealed by the company. The Redmi K40 was launched in China yesterday. The 5G-enabled device is powered by the Snapdragon 870 processor.
Other features include a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 48MP triple rear cameras, a 20MP selfie camera, 4,250mAh battery with 33W fast charging and MIUI 12 based on Android 11.
