Redmi K60 series’ new details have been leaked by the tipster, Kasper Skrzypek. Redmi is likely to launch multiple K60-branded phones in 2023. However, it appears that the company will launch three models in the beginning. As per the leak, the series will consist of the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60E. The tipster also shared some details about the chipsets of each of these smartphones.
Elaborating more on Skzypek’s leak, Xiaomiui has published additional information about the Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E. Here is a look at what to expect from these smartphones.
Redmi K60, K60 Pro, K60E monikers, model numbers
Recently, three Redmi phones with model numbers, such as 22122RK93C, 23013RK75C, and 22127RK46C were certified by China’s 3C authority. It appears that these devices will launch as the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E. At 3C certification, the starting two models were seen with a 67W charger, whereas the third device was spotted with a 120W charger.
The Redmi K60, K60 Pro, and K60E have respective codenames, such as Socrates, Mondrian, and Rembrandt. It is unclear whether the K60 and K60E will be made available in markets outside China. However, the Mondrian model (K60 Pro) will release the POCO F5 in the global market and in India. The K60 Pro’s global variant’s model number is 23013PC75G, and its Indian variant has a 23013PC75I model number.
Redmi K60E specifications (rumoured)
The Redmi K60E is expected to arrive with a Dimensity 8200 chip onboard. It will run on Android 12, which will be overlaid with MIUI 13. It will support 120W fast charging.
Redmi K60 specifications (rumoured)
The Redmi K60 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is most likely to feature an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate support. The device will come preinstalled with Android 13 and the latest MIUI 14.
Redmi K60 Pro / POCO F5 specifications (rumoured)
The Redmi K60 Pro will have an AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip and support 67W fast charging. It will run on the MIUI 14-based Android 13 OS. As mentioned above, the device is expected to be released under the POCO F5 name in global markets and India.
