Redmi K60 Ultra key specifications have surfaced today. The leak, courtesy of Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed key information on the display, chipset, charging capabilities, and design of the K60 Ultra. The Ultra model will arrive as a successor to the Redmi K50 Ultra, which went official in August 2023.
Last year, a tweaked version of the Redmi K50 Ultra was released in the global market under the Xiaomi 12T Pro moniker. Hence, it appears that the upcoming K60 Ultra will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, its rebranded or tweaked version may release as the Xiaomi 13T Pro in markets outside of China.

Redmi K60 Ultra specifications (rumoured)
According to DCS, the Redmi K60 Ultra will feature an OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate. It’s likely that the device will have the same 6.67-inch OLED 144Hz screen as the Redmi K50 Ultra. This screen had a 1.5K resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 pixels.
The leak further reveals that the Dimensity 9200 chipset will power the K60 Ultra.This indicates that it will be positioned between the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro. For those who don’t know, the K60 and K60 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.
The K50 Ultra had a plastic middle frame and offered 120W charging. The new leak states that the successor edition will have a metallic middle frame and will support slightly slower 100W charging. The tipster did not share any information on the cameras or the battery of the K60 Ultra.
Redmi K60 Ultra launch timeframe (rumoured)
According to the tipster, the Redmi K60 Ultra will launch in the third quarter of 2023 in China. Hence, it appears that just as the processor model was announced in August, the K60 Ultra may go official in the same month this year.
