Redmi K60E is confirmed to launch soon in China. The Xiaomi sub-brand shared a poster of the upcoming offering on the microblogging platform Weibo. It also reveals the processor of the smartphone.
Alongside the K60E, the Redmi K60 series is expected to comprise a regular and Pro variant. The exact launch timeline of the smartphones remain a mystery but since the brand has started teasing, we can expect it to announce the date soon.

Redmi K60E processor confirmed
The teaser poster reveals that the Redmi K60E will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 processor. However, there are no additional details about the smartphone. The confirmed chipset on the upcoming smartphone is contrary to the Geekbench listing that suggested the presence of the Snapdragon 870 SoC.
Taiwanese semiconductor company MediaTek announced the Dimensity 8200 chip earlier today. It is the successor to the Dimensity 8100. The newest chipset is fabbed on a 4nm process. It comprises one prime core at 3.1GHz, three performance cores at 3.0GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.0GHz.
The Dimensity 8200 is capable of supporting an FHD+ display with a 180Hz refresh rate and a WQHD+ resolution with 120Hz. It features LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technology. The processor comes with Imagiq 785 ISP that supports 320MP photos, 14-bit HDR video up to three cameras simultaneously. It comes with built-in 5G, WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3.
The Redmi K60E was also spotted on China’s 3C certification site with model number 22127RK46C. As per the listing, the device will come with support for 120W charging. We will know more details about the smartphone in the coming days.
