Redmi K60e, Redmi K60, and Redmi K60 Pro have been announced in China. In the past two years, the Xiaomi sub-brand has launched gaming-focused phones, such as the Redmi K40 Gaming and Redmi K50 Gaming. However, the company has skipped the Redmi K60 Gaming for 2023. Instead of it, the company has unveiled the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Redmi K60 Pro.

The company has also unveiled the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. It is the fifth Note 12 series from the brand for the Chinese market after the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, Note 12 Pro+ 5G, and Note 12 Discovery Edition. The Redmi K60 and K60 Pro feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a Quad HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, up to 1,400 nits of brightness, and a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Both devices have an under-display fingerprint scanner. The other two phones have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The lineup comes preloaded with MIUI 14-based Android 13.

The Redmi K60 and K60 Pro are powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, respectively. The K60 offers up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The K60 Pro, on the other hand, is equipped with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Redmi K60 series has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the K60 series is fitted with a triple camera unit. The K60 has a 64-megapixel (OmniVision OV64B40) main snapper, whereas the K60 Pro is fitted with a 54-megapixel (Sony IMX800) primary camera with OIS support. All three phones have an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

The K60 and K60 Pro have a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 120W rapid charging and 30W wireless charging. Both devices have the Surge P1 charging chip for power management.

The Redmi K60e has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen that produces a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 10-bit colours. Under the hood, the K60e has the Dimensity 8200 chipset, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The K60e packs a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It has a 48-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has a 6.67-inch AMOLED HFD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, up to a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 10-bit colours. The Snapdragon 778G-powered device offers up to 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The Note 12 Pro Speed Edition has a 16-megapixel front camera. On the back, it has a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. The device comes with support for 67W fast charging for its 5,000mAh battery.

The Redmi K60e and Note 12 Pro Speed Edition have a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Both phones run on Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. All the above phones have dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, up to Bluetooth 5.3, dual-frequency GPS (K60, K60 Pro), GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi K60 and K60 Pro have arrived in multiple configurations, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. The K60 variants are priced at RMB 2,499 (~Rs 29,800), RMB 2,699 (~Rs 32,100), RMB, 2999 (~Rs 35,700), RMB 3,299 (~Rs 39,200), and RMB 3,999 (~Rs 47,600), respectively.

The K60 Pro models cost RMB 3,299 (~Rs 39,200), RMB 3,599 (~Rs 42,900), RMB 3,899 (~Rs 44,600), RMB 4,299 (~Rs 51,200), RMB 4,599 (~Rs 54,750), respectively. Both phones arrived in green, white, and black colours. The K60 comes in additional blue colour.

The Redmi K60e variants, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, are priced at RMB 2,199 (~Rs 26,700), RMB 2,399 (~Rs 28,550), RMB 2,599 (~Rs 30,950), and RMB 2799 (~Rs 33,300), respectively. It comes in colours like white, black, and green.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition comes in three options: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. These models are priced at RMB 1,699 (~Rs 20,200), RMB 1,799 (~Rs 21,400), and RMB 1,999 (~Rs 23,800), respectively. It comes in three colours such as black, blue, and green.
