The Redmi Note 10 Lite could be the next Redmi phone to arrive in India. Reliable tipster Kacper Skrzypek spotted a new Xiaomi phone with model number 2109106A1I at the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Redmi Note 10 series available in India includes multiple devices such as Redmi Note 10, Redmi Note 10S, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi 10 Pro Max, and Redmi Note 10T. Xiaomi India is yet to confirm the existence of the Note 10 Lite. Probably, the device may go official by early Q4 in India.

Redmi Note 10 Lite could be a rebranded Redmi Note 9S

The MIUI code image shared by the tipster reveals that the Redmi Note 10 Lite will feature a quad-camera unit. The “curtana” text present in the topmost string suggests that it could be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi phone.

In March 2020, Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 9S smartphone for the global markets. This phone was made available in India as the Redmi Note 9 Pro. The “curtana” codename belongs to the Redmi Note 9 Pro/9S.

Therefore, the Redmi Note 9 Pro/9S could be launching as the Redmi Note 10 Lite in India soon. Given that the phone is expected to be almost identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, we wonder if Xiaomi will introduce any other changes in the device.
