Redmi Note 10 gets a price hike in India two months after launch

The Redmi Note 10’s price has increased in India. This device was made official along with the Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max in March last month. The company has hiked the price of the base model in just two months of making it available for purchase.

The Redmi Note 10 is the company’s most affordable phone with an AMOLED display. It is powered by a massive battery, which supports 33W rapid charging. For photography, it features a triple camera unit led by a 48-megapixel lens.

The Redmi Note 10’s base model featuring 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage was introduced with a price tag of Rs 11,999. With a price hike of Rs 500, it is now available for Rs 12,499 on Amazon India and On the other hand, the higher 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model was launched with a price tag of Rs 13,999. It is now listed on both retailer platforms with a price of Rs 14,499. The smartphone sells in colour variants like Aqua Green, Frost White, and Shadow Black.

The Redmi Note 10 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that comes with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels, a 20:9 aspect, ratio, and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone ships with MIUI 12 based on Android 11. The Snapdragon 678 mobile platform drives the phone with LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The display punch-hole features a 13-megapixel selfie snapper. The rear camera system of the phone has a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a pair of 2-megapixel lenses for depth effects and macro shots. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. For security, it features a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
