The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max smartphones have been launched in India alongside the Redmi Note 10. These handsets have arrived as the successors to the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max phones from last year.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max are the first in the Note series to feature AMOLED panels and 120Hz refresh rates. Both phones are pretty much the same, except in the primary camera department. The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max is the first Note-series phone to feature a 108MP camera.

Redmi Note 10 Pro and Redmi Note 10 Pro Max price in India

The Redmi Note 10 Pro has arrived in India in three variants, 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It comes in three colours such as Glacier Blue, Vintage Bronze, and Dark Night. Here is the pricing of the Redmi Note 10 Pro variants:

Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max sale date and where to buy

The Redmi Note 10 Pro will go on sale for the first time on March 17th whereas the Note 10 Pro Max’s first sale will be held on March 18th. Both phones will be available through Mi.com, Mi Home, Amazon India, and retail partners.

The Redmi Note 10 series buyers can benefit from the limited period ICICI Bank cashback offer, which offers up to Rs 1,500 discount through ICICI Bank credit cards and EMI transactions. Buyers can also take advantage of Rs 10,000 worth of benefits from Jio through the Rs 349 plan.

Xiaomi is also offering Mi Screen Protect plan that covers accidental and liquid damage as well as the Mi Protective Glass screen protector made by Corning.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max are identical except for the primary cameras

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max feature almost identical specs, differing mainly in the primary camera department. Both phones feature 6.67-inch S-AMOLED displays with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of 1,200nits. The displays are shielded by Gorilla Glass 5, while the rear shells sport a matte frosted glass finish. Both phones feature an IP52 rating for splash-resistance.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max are powered by the Snapdragon 732G chipset. The POCO X3 that debuted last year is the only other Snapdragon 732G phone currently available in the market. The handsets ship with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with dedicated microSD card slots for expansion.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro and Pro Max run MIUI 12 based on Android 11 and are scheduled to get the MIUI 12.5 update soon. They come with 5,020mAh batteries and 33W fast charging. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, stereo speakers, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Both phones feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Redmi Note 10 Pro Max sports a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 primary camera, while the Note 10 Pro features a 64-megapixel Samsung GW3 lens. Other cameras are common for both phones, including an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 118-degree FOV, a 5-megapixel super macro camera with 2x zoom, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
