Redmi Note 10S 8GB RAM variant launched in India: price, specifications

Redmi Note 10S (review) new variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage has been launched in India. The smartphone had debuted in March this year in two storage options. The models came with 6GB RAM as standard and offered choice between 64GB and 128GB storage. Now, the device has received a third option.

The new variant of the Redmi Note 10S falls under the sub-Rs 18,000 price bracket. It competes against the likes of Realme 8 Pro, OPPO F19s, Vivo Y72 5G, and others in the market. 

Redmi Note 10S price in India

The Redmi Note 10S carries a price tag of Rs 17,499 and will be available for purchase from, Mi Home, Amazon, and retail stores across the country starting December 3rd, 12 noon. There is also Rs 1,000 instant discount available to ICICI Bank cardholders, who can avail the offer via credit card and EMI transactions. 

At the time of writing this story, the Redmi Note 10S 8GB + 128GB variant is neither listed on Xiaomi’s official website nor Amazon India, however, we can expect it to appear soon. It’s also unclear if the 8GB + 128GB configuration will be available in all four colour options like the other two variants i.e. Cosmic Purple, Deep Sea Blue, Shadow Black, and Frost White

Redmi Note 10S specifications and features

The Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole cutout. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The back panel houses a rectangular camera module with the setup comprising a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro unit. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper.

Internally, the Redmi Note 10S is equipped with an Helio G95 processor. It packs up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 layered on the top.
