Redmi Note 11 to launch alongside Redmi Note 11S, Amazon availability confirmed

The Redmi Note 11 is set to launch in India on February 9th. It will debut alongside the Redmi Note 11S smartphone. The Xiaomi sub-brand confirmed the news on its Twitter handle. The Chinese company will also announce the Redmi Smart Band Pro and Redmi Smart TV X43 at the same event.

The upcoming smartphones will join the Redmi Note 11T 5G that debuted last November. The Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S will be 4G LTE smartphones and arrive as the successor to the Note 10 and Note 10S, respectively. 

Redmi Note 11 to launch alongside Note 11S

Xiaomi hasn’t revealed any key specifications of the Redmi Note 11. The teaser poster shows the smartphone in a blue colour option and a rectangular rear camera module. The Indian variant is expected to be identical to its global counterpart. The Redmi Note 11 has also been listed on Amazon confirming its availability on the e-commerce platform. 

The Redmi Note 11 could feature a centre-aligned AMOLED display measuring 6.4-inches and bearing an FHD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. The power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone features a quad-camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, 2MP depth and 2MP macro unit. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper. 

The Redmi Note 11 is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. The smartphone ships with MIUI 13 based Android 12 out of the box. 

As per a recent report, the Redmi Note 11 is tipped to carry a starting price tag of Rs 13,999 or Rs 14,999. We will know more details at the launch event.
