Redmi Note 11 Pro, Pro Plus 5G India launch date announced, Amazon availability confirmed


  • Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 11 Pro smartphones in India
  • The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro Plus 5G debut in the second week of February
  • Both devices had debuted in China last October

Redmi Note 11 Pro series launch date in India has been announced. The Xiaomi sub-brand will unveil the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro Plus 5G in the country on March 9th at 12 noon. The launch event will be live streamed on the brand’s YouTube channel and social handles.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 11 and Note 11S smartphones in India earlier this month. The Note 11 lineup also includes the Note 11T 5G that debuted last November. The Redmi Note 11 Pro duo had debuted in China last October. 

Redmi Note 11 Pro series launch date announced, key features teased

The launch announcement tweet shared by Redmi reveals key specifications of the Redmi Note 11 Pro duo. Both smartphones are confirmed to come with a 120Hz display, triple rear cameras headlined by a 108MP primary sensor, and 67W fast charging. The poster also reveals that the upcoming offering will come with 5G connectivity. However, it remains unclear whether the Note 11 Pro in India will come in a 4G or 5G version.

The device had debuted globally with 4G support and in China, it is available with 5G support. The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Pro Plus 5G smartphones will be available for purchase from Amazon India.

Redmi Note 11 Pro series specifications

Apart from the teased specifications, the Redmi Note 11 Pro duo are expected to be identical to each other. The smartphones are expected to come with 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED displays. Both devices have a 16MP front-facing snapper and on the back, the main sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP telemacro lens. 

In China, the Redmi Note 11 Pro duo are powered by a Dimensity 920 SoC. On the other hand, the global variant of Note 11 Pro 4G and 5G models are equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chipset. Both smartphones run on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box.
