The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series launch date for global markets has been confirmed. The company will be holding an online unveiling event on January 26th, 2021. Back in October 2021, Xiaomi’s sub-brand announced the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+ in China. The company is yet to confirm the names of the Note 11 models that haiwill be announced through the upcoming event.
Rumours are rife that the Note 11 lineup heading to global markets will not include the same models that were announced in China. In addition, the Indian division of the brand has been teasing the arrival of the Redmi Note 11S handset in the country. Probably, the Note 11S could be one of the Note 11 series smartphones that could be heading to the global markets next week.

The global launch event for the Redmi Note 11 series will be held at 8PM GMT+8 on January 26th, 2022. The event will be live-streamed through Xiaomi’s social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and so on. The above-shown teaser only hints the upcoming event will see the arrival of two models, both featuring a flat-edge design.
The Redmi Note 11, which was announced in China was recently made official in India as the Redmi Note 11T. The same phone was rebranded as the POCO M4 Pro 5G in other markets. On the other hand, the Note 11 Pro and Pro+ were rebranded as the Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India. Hence, the Redmi Note 11 series heading to global markets is expected to arrive with different specs than their Chinese counterparts.

Rumours surrounding the Note 11 series for global markets have claimed that the global Redmi Note 11 may arrive in variants such as 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Reports have claimed that the Redmi Note 11 Pro is likely to arrive in 4G and 5G variants.
It is speculated that the Xiaomi phone with the 2201116SG model number that was recently spotted at the FCC certification could be the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G. The FCC listing revealed that it may come in configurations such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It is likely to come preinstalled with the latest MIUI 13 and pack a 4,700mAh battery with 67W fast charge support. This model is speculated to get rebranded as the POCO X4 Pro 5G in some other markets.
As far as the Redmi Note 11S is concerned, it is likely to arrive in India with specs like a 90Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek chip, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of storage. For photography, it may feature a 13-megapixel front camera and a 108-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) camera.
