The Redmi Note 11 series is tipped to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor in international markets. The report comes from a Vietnamese publication ThePixel.vn. It has also tipped the launch timeline of the device in the country.
The Xiaomi sub-brand debuted the Redmi Note 11 series in its home market at the end of October. The lineup consists of standard, Pro, Pro+ variants, and all three devices are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity processor.
Redmi Note 11 series global variant could come with Snapdragon SoC
According to ThePixel.vn, the Redmi Note 11 series will reportedly launch in Vietnam in the first quarter of 2022. We can expect the Xiaomi sub-brand to launch the smartphone in March next year in India since its predecessor was also launched at the same time.
Compared to the Chinese variants, the Redmi Note 11 series is said to come with a different design and also Snapdragon processors under the hood instead of MediaTek’s Dimensity chipsets. However, it remains to be seen which Snapdragon processor will power the smartphones. It’s also unclear whether the Indian market will get Snapdragon editions of the Redmi Note 11 lineup.
Apart from this, the report doesn’t reveal any additional information on the Redmi Note 11’s global launch. As per leaks and rumours, the Redmi Note 11 is tipped to launch in India as a rebranded Redmi Note 11T 5G. On the other hand, the Pro and Pro+ variants will reportedly debut as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
