Redmi Note 11 series, Redmi Watch 2 to launch in China on October 28th


  • Xiaomi has announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 11 series and Redmi Watch 2

Redmi Note 11 series is set to launch in China on October 28th at 7pm local time (4.30 pm IST). The Xiaomi sub-brand announced the news on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Additionally, the brand will also announce the Redmi Watch 2 at the same event.

The launch posters shared by Redmi on Weibo also give us a glimpse at the upcoming offerings. The upcoming Redmi Note 11 series will debut as the successor to the Redmi Note 10.

The Redmi Note 11 series poster reveals key specifications

Redmi hasn’t revealed the exact lineup of the upcoming Redmi Note 11 yet. We expect it to be launched in standard, Pro, and Pro Max/ Pro+ variants. If you take a closer look at the launch poster, the Redmi Note 11 series is confirmed to come with a centre-aligned punch-hole camera. The top-edge houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, an IR Blaster, a microphone, and JBL powered speaker grille. There is a volume rocker and power button on the right edge of the device. 

The poster also reveals a Redmi Note 10-like rectangular camera module on the back panel housing four sensors and an LED flash. The upcoming Redmi Note 11 series is also expected to feature a boxy form factor. 

Ahead of the launch, Chinese retailer site has listed the Redmi Note 11 series for reservations. The standard, Pro and Pro+ variants are listed in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations. The upcoming offerings are also said to come in Mysterious Blackland, Shallow Dream Galaxy, Time Quiet Purple, and Misty Forest colour options.

As for the Redmi Watch 2, the launch poster reveals a square dial with a physical button on the right side much like its predecessor. The Xiaomi sub-brand says that the second-generation wearable device will come with upgrades in terms of display, health tracking, sports modes, user experience and more.
