The Redmi Note 11S India launch is drawing near. The company is yet to confirm the launch date of the device. It is being speculated the Note 11S may go official either by the end of this month or by early February.

The Note 11S will be arriving as the successor for last year’s Redmi Note 10S, which was one of the first Redmi Note series of smartphones to feature an AMOLED screen. A recent tweet by Redmi India suggests that the Note 11S will continue to feature an AMOLED display.

Well-known tipster Mukul Sharma in a tweet claimed that the upcoming Redmi Note smartphone, which seems to be the Note 11S, will feature an AMOLED display. In reply to Mukul’s tweet, Redmi India said, “We set high standards with Redmi Note launches in 2021. Why will 2022 be any different?” Hence, it can be said that the Note 11S is likely to feature an AMOLED screen.
The company is yet to share any details on the specs of the Note 11S. A recently released teaser revealed that it will be equipped with a 108-megapixel quad-camera unit.

The Redmi Note 11S rumours have revealed that its display will carry support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be powered by a MediaTek chipset. There is no word on the battery size and charging capabilities of the device. The handset is likely to arrive in variants such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
For selfies, it may feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup may include a 108-megapixel Samsung HM2 lens, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel OmniVision macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
