Redmi conducts 5G trials for Redmi Note 11T 5G with Reliance Jio before launch

Redmi Note 11T 5G’s launch event will be held on November 30th, 2021, in India. Today, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi confirmed that it has teamed up with Reliance Jio to conduct 5G trials for the upcoming Note 11T.

The two companies conducted a 5G standalone lab trial to test 5G connectivity on the Note 11T through different scenarios. Redmi said that the smartphone achieved stellar results by attaining a high download speed. The Note 11T will be arriving as the successor for the Redmi Note 10T, which debuted as Redmi’s first 5G-ready Note series phone in India earlier this year.

The Redmi Note 11T 5G will arrive with support for seven 5G bands including SA (standalone): n1 / n3/ n5 / n8 / n28 / n40 / n78 and NSA (non-standalone):  n1 / n3 / n40 / n78. The company claimed that the high download speeds that the phone was able to achieve demonstrate its readiness and capabilities in bringing an immersive and reliable 5G mobile experience to users.

The Redmi Note 11T will house a 6.6-inch IPS LCD punch-hole panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will possess a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) dual-camera system.

The Note 11T will be powered by the Dimensity 810 chip and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W rapid charging. It may come in multiple variants such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The device will offer other features like LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, a microSD card slot, MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Speculations are rife that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11, which debuted in China last month.

Redmi Note 11T price in India (rumoured)

The Redmi Note 11T is likely to carry a sub-Rs 20,000 pricing. It may come in hues like Matte Black, Stardust White, and Aquamarine Blue.
