Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C will be launching soon in India, suggests a tweet released by popular tipster Mukul Sharma. Xiaomi’s sub-brand has already launched the Redmi Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G in the Indian market. Now, the brand is gearing up to launch a 4G-only version of Note 12 in markets like India and Europe.
The Redmi 12C is not a completely new phone since it has already been available in China since December 2022. It appears that the Note 12 4G and 12C may debut together at some point this month. Here is a look at the specifications and features of both smartphones.

It will come with a powerful 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The device will run on the Android 13 OS, overlaid with the latest MIUI 14 user interface. The device may offer 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage.
The Redmi Note 12 4G will also have a 13-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel main camera on the back, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It will offer other features such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner and an IP53-rated body.

The Redmi 12C boasts a large 6.71-inch IPS LCD screen with an impressive 20:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution. The Helio G85 SoC, along with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, powers the Redmi 12C under the hood.
The Redmi 12C is also equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 10W charging through a microUSB 2.0 port. It comes preinstalled with the MIUI 13-flavoured Android 12 OS. The phone also supports expandable storage of up to 512GB via a microSD card slot.
The waterdrop notch on display accommodates a 5-megapixel selfie camera, while the back of the phone sports a textured panel with a fingerprint scanner and a dual-camera setup. The main camera boasts an impressive 50-megapixel resolution and is accompanied by a depth sensor. It has other features, such as dual 4G VoLTE and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Redmi Note 12 4G is likely to be priced at around Rs 13,000. It may come in shades such as Onyx Gray, Mint Green, and Ice Blue.
The Redmi 12C may arrive in multiple colours, such as Graphite Gray, Ocean, Mint Green, and Lavender Purple. It is likely to be priced at around Rs 10,000. As mentioned above, both devices are likely to go official this month in India.
